Yesterday (28 September 2016), at the Base Station a gas line was accidentally ruptured during construction on the site in Dromana.
Emergency Services had teams at the site extremely quickly and dealt with the issue so that there was no disruption to services on the Southern Peninsula. We would like to thank them for their professional and extremely efficient work.
We believe a gas line to the southern peninsula was ruptured during work by a contractor on the car park construction.
Police and CFA workers door-knocked nearby houses and residents on the Southern Peninsula were advised to use as little gas as possible yesterday.
The site is back to normal today and this won't cause any delay to our opening date in early December.
