Can I propose at Arthurs Seat Eagle?

Yes. Arthurs Seat Eagle offers three marriage proposal packages on Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula. Propose in a private gondola above the treetops, with a coordinated surprise and flowers, refreshments and video included in your package.

Which proposal packages are available, and how much do they cost?

Arthurs Seat Eagle offers three proposal packages, each for two people. All prices are in Australian dollars:

Sweet and Simple — $499: An in-gondola celebration with flowers, Prosecco and a gourmet cheese platter.
Heightened Romance — $799: A premium bouquet, Moët Champagne and a Posh Picnic in Arthurs Seat State Park.
Elegantly Extravagant — $1,399: Premium flowers, Bollinger Champagne, a Posh Picnic and an extended gondola experience with a gourmet dessert platter.

All three packages include a coordinated proposal, private gondola for the proposal, two printed proposal photos and an edited proposal video.

What is included in the Sweet and Simple proposal package?

The Sweet and Simple proposal package costs $499 for two people and includes:

Two double-return gondola tickets, giving each person two return trips, starting at the Base Station.
A coordinated proposal in a private gondola.
A table set with a linen tablecloth inside your gondola.
A Sweet Posy floral arrangement.
Four glasses of Prosecco: an initial glass and one top-up per person.
A gourmet cheese platter, with vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options available.
Two printed proposal photos.
An edited video of your proposal.

What is included in the Heightened Romance proposal package?

The Heightened Romance proposal package costs $799 for two people and includes:

Two return gondola tickets, starting at the Base Station.
A coordinated proposal in a private gondola.
A premium bouquet, incorporating your partner’s favourite flowers where seasonally available.
A bottle of Moët Champagne to enjoy on the Eagle’s outdoor deck.
A Posh Picnic with a picnic blanket to enjoy in Arthurs Seat State Park.
Two printed proposal photos.
An edited video of your proposal.

What is included in the Elegantly Extravagant proposal package?

The Elegantly Extravagant proposal package costs $1,399 for two people and includes:

Two double-return gondola tickets, giving each person two return trips, starting at the Base Station.
A coordinated proposal in a private gondola.
A premium bouquet, incorporating your partner’s favourite flowers where seasonally available, or a dozen long-stemmed roses.
A bottle of Bollinger Champagne to enjoy on the Eagle’s outdoor deck and in your gondola on the return journey.
A Posh Picnic with a picnic blanket in Arthurs Seat State Park, with an Arthurs Seat Eagle staff member escorting you to your picnic.
A dining table set with a tablecloth and a gourmet dessert platter inside your gondola for your extended return journey.

Will we have a private gondola for the proposal?

Yes. Every proposal package includes a private gondola for the proposal, with no staff travelling alongside you. GoPro cameras mounted inside the gondola capture the moment.

How do I book a proposal package?

Complete the proposal enquiry form on this page or email sarah@aseagle.com.au with your preferred date and package. Our team will discuss your arrangements and confirm your booking. Submitting an enquiry does not confirm a booking.

How far in advance should I book?

Please book at least two days before your preferred proposal date. If you have less notice, contact our team to check whether we can accommodate your request. Personalised extras may require a longer lead time.

When are proposal packages available?

Proposal packages are available on any day Arthurs Seat Eagle is open, subject to availability. Please check our Opening Hours page when planning your visit and confirm your preferred date and time with our team.

How long should we allow for the experience?

Allow approximately:

Sweet and Simple: 1 hour.
Heightened Romance: 2 hours.
Elegantly Extravagant: 2.5 hours.

Please arrive no more than 10 minutes before your confirmed booking time.

Where do we go on the day?

All proposal packages begin at the Arthurs Seat Eagle Base Station, 1085 Arthurs Seat Road, Dromana VIC 3936.

Our team will explain your arrival arrangements before the day to help keep the proposal a surprise.

Is parking available?

Yes. Free public parking is available at both stations. The car parks are managed by Parks Victoria, and spaces cannot be reserved. As all proposal packages start at the Base Station, please park there for your booking.

Can you help me keep the proposal a surprise?

Yes. A staff member will contact you before your visit to explain how the surprise will work and coordinate the details with you.

When enquiring, let us know your preferred contact method and a suitable time to reach you discreetly.

Can I personalise the proposal?

Yes. We can customise flowers and refreshments and discuss other special requests. Please arrange personal touches at least two days in advance. Requests are subject to availability, some may require additional notice, and extra charges may apply.

Will our proposal be filmed?

Yes, unless you arrange otherwise with our team. GoPro cameras mounted inside the gondola record your proposal, and the footage is edited into a video for you to keep. Raw footage is also available on request.

When and how will we receive our proposal video?

You will receive your edited proposal video within four weeks, both as a digital download via WeTransfer and on a USB sent by post. Video delivery and postage are included in your package price.

Can you cater for dietary requirements or provide non-alcoholic drinks?

We can cater for most dietary requirements. Please include any dietary needs, allergies or requests for non-alcoholic drinks in your enquiry so our team can confirm suitable options before your booking.

Can family or friends join the celebration?

Yes. Family and friends can join your celebration. Please discuss your plans with our team before booking so we can confirm suitable arrangements and any additional ticket or catering costs.

Are proposal packages suitable for guests with accessibility requirements?

Arthurs Seat Eagle provides accessible gondola travel, and our team can work with you to adapt your proposal experience to your access requirements.

What happens if bad weather affects our proposal?

Arthurs Seat Eagle may occasionally close due to inclement weather. If operations are suspended on the day of your proposal booking, our team will contact you to arrange an alternative date or a refund.

Can I change or cancel my proposal booking?

You can cancel your proposal package for a full refund by giving at least 48 hours’ notice before your scheduled proposal.

Rescheduling may also be possible, subject to availability. Please contact our team as soon as possible if your plans change.
