These winter school holidays, every day is packed with magical moments, family activities and cosy delights. From snow flurries and storytelling to native animals, twilight gondola rides, and festive surprises, there’s something for everyone to enjoy high above the Mornington Peninsula.

Snow Flurries

Feel the winter magic as gentle snow flurries float through the air every hour, on the hour, from 11am to 4pm.

Our magical faux snow will delight children and adults alike as it transforms the summit into a snowy wonderland — no mittens required!

Kids Corner

Let creativity take flight in the Kids Corner!

Every day, little ones can enjoy hands-on winter crafts from 11am until 3pm at the Summit Station, creating their own seasonal masterpieces before settling in for Winter Storytime at 3pm

It’s a warm and welcoming space for young imaginations to soar!

Arthur Bear's Adventure Stamp Hunt

Arthur Bear’s Adventure Stamp Hunt is back! Grab a map and set out on an exciting quest around the Arthurs Seat Eagle.

Collect all the stamps and return to claim a special prize — perfect for curious kids and little adventurers!

Winter Dusk Flights

Experience the serene beauty of the mountain at twilight.

Our Winter Dusk Flights run daily during the school holidays, gliding until 5pm.

Watch the bushland shift into evening hues and soak in the golden skies: it’s a breathtaking way to end your day!

No pre-bookings necessary – dusk flights can be boarded every day until 5pm.

Christmas in July

Celebrate the most magical time of the year… midwinter style! Join us on the weekend of 19–20 July for our annual Christmas in July festivities!

Santa will be roving the summit, spreading cheer, handing out festive treats, and keeping tabs on who’s been naughty or nice!

With snowflakes in the air and plenty of holiday spirit, it’s a winter weekend not to be missed.

Dance Classes

Kick off your week with rhythm and fun!

Join Dwan-a-Dance in the Kids Corner every Monday at 12pm for interactive movement sessions led by the vibrant and talented Dwan.

These lively workshops blend dance, fun and self-expression, and are perfect for young movers and shakers.

Indigenous Walks with Living Culture

Embark on a guided walk with Living Culture at Arthurs Seat Eagle to explore Indigenous pathways and deepen your understanding of Aboriginal heritage.

Led by knowledgeable guides, these walks offer insights into native flora, fauna, and the rich cultural history of Wonga (Arthurs Seat).

These walks are free but must be booked and will be held on Tuesday 8 July at 11am & 1pm and on
Tuesday 15 July at 11am & 1pm

Wedgie Wednesdays!

Wednesdays are for Wedgie!

Meet our larger-than-life mascot, Wedgie the Wedge-tailed Eagle, as he roams around the Eagle spreading joy, posing for selfies and sharing a few cheeky moves.

Aussie Wildlife Shows

Get up close with Australia’s most fascinating native animals every Thursday!

Our Aussie Wildlife Shows offer an unforgettable encounter with furry, scaly and feathery friends.

Animal shows must be prebooked.  

Bubble Dome at the Summit

Step inside the fun every Friday with our giant Bubble Dome at the summit! From 12–3pm, kids can climb into this magical inflatable dome filled with colourful balloons: perfect for bouncing, playing, and capturing the ultimate photo moment.

Live Music at the Summit

Soak in the sounds of local talent as live music fills the air every Saturday from 12–3pm. With sweeping views and sweet tunes, it’s the perfect weekend vibe to accompany your wintery escape.

Face Painting at the Summit

Finish the week with a splash of colour! Every Sunday, talented face painters will be at the summit ready to transform little faces into magical creatures, superheroes, and more – all included in your visit!
