These Easter school holidays, Arthurs Seat Eagle is preparing to celebrate a remarkable milestone – welcoming its two millionth visitor!
Since opening, millions of people have travelled up the mountain on the Eagle’s iconic gondolas, gliding quietly above the bushland to take in some of the most spectacular views on the Mornington Peninsula. Along the way there have been countless family days out, holiday adventures, first rides for excited children and returning visitors bringing friends and relatives to share the experience.
Now, during the Easter school holidays, the Eagle will be counting down to see who will become visitor number two million.

The winner of our 2 Millionth Visitor promotion will take home a Grand Prize Golden Getaway on the Mornington Peninsula, packed with special experiences and treats from across the region.

Every guest who rides our special 2 Millionth golden gondola over the holidays will receive a FREE souvenir photo!
The Summit cafe will also be in full celebration mode, serving up golden-themed treats throughout!
Extended Golden Hours
To mark the occasion, the Eagle will also run extended hours over selected dates, where you can catch that golden glow over the mountain as the sun starts to set.
Golden hour flights run on:
Easter Saturday (4 April) – Open until 7pm
Easter Sunday (5 April) – Open until 6pm
Easter Monday (6 April) – Open until 6pm
Sat 11th April – Open until 6pm
Sat 18th April – Open until 6pm

Easter is nearly here! And we’ll be celebrating all weekend with:
- Easter eggs for the kids
- Live music on Easter Saturday
- FREE face painting on Easter Sunday and Easter Monday
- Easter specials in the cafe
Autumn is one of the most beautiful times of year to visit Arthurs Seat. The air is cooler, the bushland feels fresh after summer, and the views across Port Phillip Bay seem to stretch even further on clear days.
Aussie Wildlife Experiences
Guest favourites Aussie Wildlife are back, as we invite curious minds to meet incredible native wildlife during interactive animal shows.
Live animal shows take place on:
Tuesday 7th April @ 10am & 11am
Monday 13th April @ 10am & 11am
These shows are FREE but must be booked below:
Live Music Every Saturday
On Saturdays, the atmosphere lifts even further with live music from local artists, making it an easy place to linger after your flight.
